Daniel was nominated for the Golden Globe award of Best Actor in a musical or comedy for his role in Nine. His film has also been nominated for the coveted Golden Globe award for Best Motion Picture for a comedy or musical. Congrats, Daniel!

Yay for no 4 year hiatus between films! DD-L landed a new role for himself:
It looks like the producers of the movie musical Nine are replacing one Oscar winner with another.
Nearly three weeks after this year’s Best Supporting Actor (for No Country for Old Men) Javier Bardem withdrew from the upcoming screen adaptation of the Broadway show, citing exhaustion, this year’s Best Actor winner (for There Will Be Blood) will assume the leading role, reports Weekly Variety.
The London-born Day-Lewis, 51, will play the Italian film director Guido Contini, based on flamboyant cinema artist Federico Fellini and his semi-autobiographical 1963 romp 8 ½, which starred Marcello Mastrioianni. (The title referred to the number of movies Fellini had previously directed.)

There Will Be Blood is on DVD NOW, so head on over to the stores and buy a copy or two! I bought the 2-Disc and my sis is capping the second disc right now and she’ll do the first disc tomorrow and she will cap the shit out of it lol. The features are:
- Dailies Gone Wild (Daniel and Dillon Freasier, bless him, in the restaurant going crazy)
- An awesome teaser trailer as well as the also awesome trailer
- Some history stuff about Oil
- Two deleted scenes – one including HW cutting Daniel’s hair
Check back! I also added a scan of TWBB in Entertainment Weekly as well as a glowing review about the film to the gallery. There’s also caps from The Bounty (1984). If you ever rent it, don’t be fooled by its PG-13 rating. There are lots of BEWBS in the movie. But Daniel is awesome in it, as usual, so if you’re cool with seeing lots of bewbs, check it out.
